Abisme ’s first ideas arose in Sweden, like important part of their influence, but the band started officially in 2017 in Barcelona with Joan, Anna, Uri and Manel. At the end of that year Manel left the band and entered Victor Gato, who recorded the drums of our first album, mixed and self-produced by Joan, like the artwork by Anna. The first 30 seconds of "Revenge by Fire" convinced me to get the whole album! It is a face-melting blend of speed and black metal, reminiscent of Hellripper! KVAEN is a Swedish solo project much like Hellripper but many known guest musicians helped J. Björnfot in his endeavor. Altogether it is really a solid debut album, I loved the melodies and the pace changes in the second half too, ending with a "calm" instrumental one. Well-done!!

one of the best death doom bands so far. great melodies with great atmospheres. mostly slow, heavy and doomy but sometimes there are these groovy double-bass drum moments wich are pretty fucking cool. if you like death doom and melodic atmospheric black metal, this is for you.

A record of wave-like production and washing, encompassing guitar riffs. It's criminal this hasn't gotten further reach, but it's well worth the purchase.
